It often feels like Murphy’s Law strikes when we least expect it—and during those moments, having the right tools and support can make all the difference. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I consider how your environment, community, support systems, and sense of self interact to shape your experience. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change.

As your therapist, I see my role as providing both support and education—helping you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and grow into the strongest, most empowered version of yourself.

Since joining AMA Behavioral Health in May of 2023, I’ve continued to deepen my clinical knowledge and practice. Under the guidance and training of Andrea Alvarez, LPC-S and AMA’s founder, I’ve developed a strong foundation in understanding and treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). This specialized training has equipped me with effective, evidence-based tools to support individuals managing OCD and related challenges.

I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville’s Kent School of Social Work in Louisville, KY, and later relocated to San Antonio, Texas. I was drawn to Texas for its strong support of the military community. My background includes working as a career counselor with the Army Transition Assistance Program, where I supported Active-Duty Service Members transitioning out of the military. I bring extensive experience in working with both Active-Duty Military and Veterans, as well as in crisis management, crisis resolution, and case management.

No matter where you are in your journey, I strive to offer a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where healing and personal growth can take root.
