Erika Carrillo

LPC-Associate

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am passionate about supporting both youth and adults through their unique journeys toward healing and growth. I specialize in Maternal Mental Health and Trauma Informed Care, offering a compassionate, culturally sensitive space for clients to explore their emotions, build resilience, and find meaningful change.

I also have training in OCD treatment under Andrea Alvarez, LPC-S, equipping me to work with both children and adults experiencing OCD. To ensure clients receive the highest quality of care, I engage in ongoing consultation with Andrea and remain committed to using evidence-based practices for OCD treatment.Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am committed to making therapy accessible and supportive for diverse communities. Whether you’re navigating the challenges of motherhood, healing from trauma, working through OCD, or simply seeking a safe space to be heard, I strive to meet you where you are with empathy, respect, and evidence-based care.

Outside of the therapy room, I love getting lost in fantasy novels, exploring antique stores and thrift shops, and diving into the rich stories of old world history and anthropology. I enjoy spending time with my family and frequently travel to one of my favorite places, New Orleans.
